Backbends are so healthy to do but can be tricky. When you backbend without proper alignment, it is possible you will walk away with back pain! In this class, we will practice a few different types of Cobra poses - each with a different focus. The class is built up using a progressive sequence during which we add alignment actions in each version so you can understand and feel your body as it moves deeper into Bhujangasana. With Surya Namaskar, Adho Mukha Svanasana, Virabhadrasana I, Bhujangasana, Ardha Bhekasana and more.
Props: a blanket and a meditation cushion.
