Sara Lyn Chana Follow
Sara Lyn Chana is a certified yoga and Pilates teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. She loves to integrate mobility and functional workouts into her dynamic and empowering flow classes.
Sara’s passion for movement began during her nearly 20-year ballet career, where she developed a deep appreciation for the human body and aesthetic movement. Although she decided against pursuing a professional dance career after high school, she undertook her Pilates training while earning a double bachelor’s degree in Sociology and English.
After completing her degrees, Sara embarked on a transformative nine-month journey across Asia, where she immersed herself in yoga for the first time. This experience inspired her to complete her 200-hour teacher training at Trimurti Yoga in Goa, India, where she studied multi-style yoga, including Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa. She then took an advanced training in fascia, Yin Yoga, and breathing techniques, culminating in a 300-hour certification in Rishikesh, India.
Sara’s classes blend her dance background, martial arts experience in Muay Thai, and her Asian heritage, infusing Far Eastern spirituality into the precision and rigor of Western methodologies. She offers a unique combination of powerful and flowing elements, creating a balanced approach to physical and mental wellness.
Alongside teaching, Sara is a passionate advocate for holistic health and fitness. Through her writing and workshops, she aims to raise awareness about the interconnectedness of body, mind, and social well-being, helping others lead more balanced and carefree lives.
Sara regularly hosts events and workshops across German-speaking countries and organizes retreats designed to deepen participants’ practice, foster self-awareness, and promote relaxation within a supportive community.
