Native American gratitude practice

These sacred words originate from the Haudenosaunee Native American Tribe's Thanksgiving address – giving thanks to the natural world. They are read and shared here with the intention of honouring the tradition of those people. The words can be found on the internet and are shared in the hope that the more people hear them, hold the words in their hearts and minds and honour nature, the more we can return to a state of reverence for, and connection to, the natural world.

David reads from the book, Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. A version of the Thanksgiving Address can be downloaded here
