Often, and understandably so, our first reaction to discomfort is to (subconsciously) slightly harden or tense around it. We seek to escape the feeling, or meet it with an initial inner resistance. Sometimes that hardening adds extra layers of tension, making it difficult to process our emotions, or to let go of physical discomfort which my be exacerbated by stress. This meditation, followed by just a few minutes of intuitive movement, invites you into a space in which to soften the edges of any discomfort, even if just for a moment.
