It’s possible that one of the things that’s in the way of you taking time to stop and rest is the feeling of guilt. Maybe you feel you don’t deserve to care for yourself, or that your duty to others should supersede your own need for rest. The opposite of guilt is responsibility: to ourselves, to put on our life jacket first, and then be the best we can be for everyone else in our lives.
