Are you in need of a deeply nourishing and relaxing night’s rest? If so, you can do this Yin class on your bed just before you plan to go to sleep. It’s designed to help you release physical and mental tension accumulated during the day, calm your nervous system, and pacify your breath. By doing so, your body and mind will be in a more relaxed state before sleep, which aids a deeper, more restorative, and refreshing night's rest.
This practice includes some calming pranayama, Yin yoga to release the back, neck, chest, hips and legs, and we end with a guided Savasana which will hopefully help you drift off to sleep.
Props: bolster, belt, pillows and your bed!
