This practice features twisting sequences to free the back and enhance core strength and thoracic spine flexibility. Pilates is used as a preparatory framework to build connection to our centre. We will explore flat back abdominals that challenge the stability of our hips and spine, Side planks and twists lying on our back and from a High Curl position. We will then move to a standing flow and apply the same principles to poses such as Twisted Lunge, Revolved Triangle and Revolved Half Moon. We will close with a soothing and grounding movement exploration that will invite us to spiral through the spine and find spaciousness in our joints.
