Here’s a chance to practice the standing series of Ashtanga yoga in a calm and gentle way. The inspiration from this class came from a comment posted in another class and reminded me of sequences and practices I used to do, but don’t do so much anymore.
We practice three Sun Salute As, two Sun Salute Bs and then the standing poses of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga in a slower, more meditative way while your old friend, the breath, keeps visiting! After the standing poses, a little time in supported Bridge pose followed by a visualisation of old friends to fill the heart with vibrations from the past, while keeping love in the present.
