The hip flexor, otherwise known as the psoas (pronounces so-ah-s), is a muscle that, if tight and weak, can prohibit you from accessing deep backbends. It could also cause back pain and limit you from poses that require strength like arm balances and core work. In this class, we will do a Vinyasa flow with some targeted stretches to help create more psoas flexibility. Feel free to go as deep or as soft as you like and enjoy the benefits that stretching your psoas can bring!
You will need wall space and a couple of blocks, as well as a cushion to pad up your knee.
