This chapter in my long-running Mindful Mellow Flow series is an extra-mellow one as I know previous versions may have gotten a bit sweaty or un-mellow! We are accompanied by a beautiful musical soundtrack called The Sound of Soulence for a slow, methodical opening of the hips and spine.
We start on the knees, which can be adapted as necessary, and then move into some hip mobilisation done lying on the floor. From there, some mellow movements eventually carry us to Anantasana – Lord Vishnu’s Couch pose – which calls for great presence and concentration.
