At the end of the day, it can sometimes feel like we are carrying a lot of stuff with us, whether it be work issues, family things, or simply scattered energy from all the people, places and things we've encountered that day. In order to help us wind down and find restful sleep, or even simply just rest, it can be helpful to cleanse ourselves energetically, detach from the day, and ground ourselves inwardly by connecting to our bodies. This practice takes us through an energetic cleanse technique I learned in a recent Reiki training, followed by some gentle flow to release any physical tension from the day and create some space. We finish with an opportunity to centre our energy and feel grounded and relaxed.
