QiGong, Yin and direct experience
QiGong, Yin and direct experience
This is a preview. Start your 2-week free trial or subscribe to enjoy full access to EkhartYoga.
We begin with arriving and orientating, settling our nervous system and doing a little experiment to notice the difference between what it’s like to feel the body directly and what it's like to experience the body by thinking about it. Your meditation and movement practice changes when you start to shift your way of experiencing/feeling the body to the former rather than the latter. Next, we move through some Qigong movements to gather and circulate chi. Then it’s Yin time. We focus on all sides of the hips and there will be plenty of exploration time and suggestions to find the variations of the poses that suit your body and where you are at in this moment.
This is an embodied practice that will hopefully leave you feeling energised, relaxed and grounded all at once.
