We all (men included - this practice can be for you, too!) have masculine and feminine energies within us. Our society, however, is generally quite 'masculine-energy heavy', with work structures, pace, and expectations often set up in a more Yang way. This practice nurtures our feminine energy, through the physical poses, as well as through the rhythm, intention and inquiry that is offered. It’s a great practice for women before or during their cycle, too. Expect a slow, stretchy, gentle flow, with lots of moments to just relax into being, and lots of invitations to tune into your needs and what might nourish you.
Props: a blanket, bolster, meditation cushion or pillow, two blocks, eye pillow (optional).
