Anxiety is the most common mental health issue that adults struggle with today. Over 30% of people will experience it at some point in their lives. In this talk, we explore the different possible origins and causes of anxiety, as well as the concepts of internal vs external focus, or interoception vs exteroception. After reflecting and discussing a few practical tips to soothe anxiety, we move into a grounding and calming meditation, utilising a technique from Dr. Huberman. Hopefully, at the end, you will feel more centered and soothed.
