We set the tone for this class by accessing the awareness of the spine with a Mudra and simple breathing exercise. It is important, as we practice, that we are aware that it is not only about the shapes, strength or flexibility of our body, but the magic that happens when we are able to tune into the inherent energies running throughout it. Allowing these to be the guides of our practice means it can be sustained forever. There is a headstand and a handstand in this class so if these poses are not part of your practice yet, you could do a downward facing dog instead.
Please have a couple of blankets or a cushion to sit on.
