This 60-minute class is a recording of a live class Esther taught as part of our Joy of Yoga program. We focus on the theme of balance: the balance between stillness and movement, the balance between rest and challenge. We begin with a short centering then do some close-to-the-ground movements to warm up and get the energy flowing throughout the whole body. The central part of the practice is a mixture of more 'traditional' yoga poses and vigorous movements coupled with Kapalabhati breathing. We end with some Yin poses poses back down on the mat. Throughout the practice we take pauses to tune back into how we feel. Not too much stillness, not too much challenge - just the perfect balance!
