These 30 minutes will invite you to ‘make regular visits to yourself’, as Rumi suggests. We work on opening the body - especially the fascia around the upper body, arms, shoulders and neck. The practice starts with a 5 minute seating centering, to invite you to stop for a moment, pause and check in with yourself. Next, we do some stretches to release any stagnation and stress - opening, stretching and twisting the spine, opening the waist and side body, and the front body and hips, which is great if you sit a lot. Lastly, we move into some standing work, stretching the fascia of the arms neck and shoulders. We finish close to the floor again with a short Savasana.
