This is intended for the ‘yoga curious’ friends of yours. It’s an absolute beginner class for those who are ready to try their first (easy-to-follow and digestible) yoga practice. Invite your partners, kids, parents and friends to check out this practice that has changed your life!
David will introduce the practice in an authentic and sincere way without overly emphasising spiritual “fluff” and keeps the movements accessible to most bodies. We start with a breath investigation, practicing the 3 part breath lying over a cushion. From there some Cat & Cow, leading to very gentle Sun Salutations. Triangle, Twisted Triangle, Side Angle, Twisted Side Angle, Wide leg forward fold and Tree pose are the standing poses and we finish with a few seated poses and final relaxation.
Those of you who are teachers are also welcome to use this class as a support tool for adding insights to your beginners classes as well. If you take the class with them, make sure the beginners feel welcome and safe and keep your practice simple and loving.
