A slow, mellow movement flow intended to release tension from the day… or relieve stiffness from the morning! Wonderful musician, Josh Brill, has a beautifully hypnotic song that is our soundtrack for this introspective experience.
We begin in a seated cross-legged position and wave through the shoulders and spine, eventually leading to a few brief standing shapes. From there, we go back to the floor for some rolling along the side body, and stretching and mobilizing the hips and lower back. The pace is slow, the music is like a drone and the effect can prepare you nicely for rest or bed… or to get up and get on with your day having released any stiffness.
