By understanding how the mind works we can create profound change in ourselves and those around us. Most of the time the mind reacts to what our reptilian brain perceives; this is neither good or bad, it is just how the mind is programmed. It is in the moment between the information perceived by the primal brain and what the mind makes of it that the change can occur. We explore this in this practice by standing firm on our ground and by getting to know ourselves through different forward bends. Please have a block, cushion and strap handy.
