The foam roller is often used for massaging out tightness in the body but it's also a great tool to change up your Pilates practice, adding the challenge of working on an unstable surface. This is great for your balance and joint stability as we wobble, roll and release. If you don't have a roller, most of the work can be done with a yoga bolster too.
