This is a mixture of movements to help you with lower back pain. You can do this practice in its entirety or pick and choose the exercises according to your needs and preference. The aim of this class is to retrain your brain by moving your back in a variety of ways so that your brain no longer perceives movement as threatening and thus generating a pain response. Another aim is for you to enjoy moving in ways that feel good for you, so adapt the exercises to your desires. If you enjoy an exercise, you might want to do more of it, and if you don't, leave it and move to the next one. But take into consideration that no movement is bad; sometimes pain comes when we do something we aren't used to. This is all about empowering you to move, rather than being fearful of moving.
