Do you have tension and painful knots in your upper back, shoulders and neck and can’t get rid of it with your yoga practice? Then this session Yin yoga with tennis balls might help.
We begin by doing some movements to loosen up the joints. Then we use tennis balls to apply acupressure and create a deep tissue release in specific areas of the upper body. While the tension is released, stored emotions can arise as well. The most important thing is to relax and soften the areas as much as you can so that the pressure of the ball can do its work. We end the class with Savasana and a meditation.
You'll need 4 tennis balls and 2 socks for this practice - I will explain how to use them during the practice - plus, a pillow and a blanket.
