Gentle Asana and Pranayama to help us take off the mask of who we ‘need to be’ in daily life. This very gentle, restorative practice begins with a face massage then round one of alternate nostril breathing (Nad Shodhana). This is followed by a couple of restorative poses - diaphragm separation and a reclined twist. After that, a round of 'increased exhalation' Pranayama to drop even deeper inside. Finally, lying on the floor with a leg in the air and finishing the asana practice with Yin Dragonfly opens the way to a final round of alternate nostril breathing to stay connected to who you are beyond the masks of daily life.
