The Egyptian Sun Salutation is a slow, self-enquiring approach to this ancient tradition of honouring the sun. Influenced by the Egyptian wall paintings, this is a deep exploration of transitions between each posture. You will spend some time exploring the responses of the body behind the skin or tuning into our interoceptive quality. This sequence is easy to learn and you will be guided into each posture with visualisations. This focuses the mind, deepens the breath experience and helps to create softness and vitality. If you enjoyed this, Helen has another class - Egyptian Sun Salutation Part 2 - which focuses on transitions between poses and incorporates a flowing, dynamic Warrior sequence.
