When you feel stressed, your mind races and it can be challenging to slow down (physically and mentally). You can use this technique to help clear your head and calm yourself down in the office. It's also helpful to use when you're struggling to get to sleep. Holding the breath improves lung function and helps to relax you, and lengthening the breath calms the nervous system.
