A good practice for people who wish to deepen their practice and enjoyment of hip openers. After a few moments of sitting and stilling the mind, you are gentlily lead into the practice. The class involves preparations for hip opening postures, to bring movement and articulation to the hip joints. After some fluid moments to introduce some warmth and energy to the body, the class progresses with classical hip opening postures including amongst Baddha Konasana. As movement is introduced to the hips, there are supine variations on Pigeon Pose (Kapotasana) which lead to the beginnings and variations of the full posture. After exploring the different postures, you are then invited to ly down and be lead through a short relaxation.
