The third in in a 5-part series of classes for those who would like to spend a bit more time on the basic yoga poses. The focus is on aligning the body and coordinating movement and actions with the breath.
This class will introduce the most basic twisting postures. Moving from warm up twists to standing twists and ending with seated twists, this class will teach you how to align your hips so you will twist safely and effectively. With easy Lunge Twist, Parivrtta Anjaneyasana, Parivrtta Balasana, Marichyasana III.
Props: a bolster or 1 or 2 blankets to sit on.
