Why would we go through the trouble of befriending painful feelings? Why not just focus on something positive that will make us feel good and get on with it? In this talk Esther points out the hidden treasures inside of our unprocessed emotions that we still carry with us from childhood. By befriending our hurt, sadness or desperation we can access old wounding that keeps us stuck in reactive patterns. When we connect to these emotions and finally validate what was once so very painful, our energy can flow again and we can let go of what we no longer need to hold on to.
