For this tutorial, make yourself comfortable, on the floor or seated on a chair. In pregnancy, the pelvic floor becomes of vital importance as a support for the abdominal organs. At birth, the pelvic floor needs to relax and open up fully. It is extremely helpful for new moms-to-be to be able to locate, release and exercise the pelvic floor in order to have awareness and support. This class will guide you through some basic exercises to teach you just that.
If you’ve never done yoga before, please consult your doctor or healthcare practitioner before doing so. Always listen to your body and stop if something doesn’t feel right.
