In this meditation we will practice bringing presence in our posture. Presence simply means being physically and mentally present in this moment. When we drift off in thought, we are still present, but not aware of where we are. This translates in a certain posture: either we shield ourselves (tension) while engaging in a thought story, or we withdraw into a sleepy, dreamy state (loss of muscle tension, relaxing too much). We will practice the posture of the "inner warrior": sitting open and exposed without shrinking, avoiding, or shielding ourselves.
